Some species, such as the nationally threatened (EPBC Act 1999) pygmy bluetongue lizard ( Tiliqua adelaidensis ), are not only reliant on abandoned spider burrows for shelter but their populations are limited by suitable available burrows (Souter et al, 2004).…”
