“…The CW-OSL intensity per unit mass of LiAlO 2 was about 10 times higher than that of Al 2 O 3 :C. The measured dose-response was found to be linear in the tested dose range from 0.5 mGy to 0.5 Gy. These results, which are in agreement with the findings of Lee et al (2012Lee et al ( , 2013, seem to indicate that the samples studied in this work have similar characteristics as the Korean material. The obtained results should be therefore also relevant to the Korean samples.…”

“…It allows registering light with the wavelengths from 300 to 400 nm (UV range). This range fits exactly the OSL emission spectra of LiAlO 2 with peaks at 332 nm, 344 nm and 361 nm (Lee et al 2013). Before each measurement samples were annealed in the reader at 450 o C for 240 s. This procedure ensures erasing any possible residual signal.…”

“…Lithium aluminates (LiAlO 2 ) are important materials in various health and energy applications. For instance, in dosimetry, γ‐LiAlO 2 is considered as a novel material for optically stimulated luminescence (OSL), offering a superior sensitivity to the conventional carbon‐doped Al 2 O 3 . In batteries, LiAlO 2 nanocrystals and mesoporous materials are critical components in the electrolyte composites .…”

“…BeO need to take specially because its dust is very toxic and its inhaling could lung deceases called berylliosis. TL/OSL highly sensitive phosphors, are investigated as NaMgF 3 :Eu 2+ [5], NaLi 2 PO 4 :Eu [12], NaLi 2 PO 4 :Ce [10], SiO 2 :Cu [2], LiMgPO 4 :Tb,B [4], Y 3 Al 5 O 12 :C [6], Na 2 SiF 6 :Cu,P [1], Al 2 O 3 :B [14], LiAlO 2 [7], MgO:Tb [3]. However, most of them suffered with their limitations like low sensitivity, high fading, reusability issues, low dose saturation and complicated TL glow curves.…”
