Characteristics of Intimate Partner Homicide in China: Compared With Previous Studies in Other Countries

Abstract: Advancing towards modernization and urbanization, China is currently witnessing a soaring increase in intimate partner homicide (IPH). The les included crime investigation reports; medical examiner reports (injury or autopsy); toxicology reports (of offenders and victims); psychiatric illness and criminal responsibility evaluation reports (when requested by the attorney or defendant); offenders' prior conviction reports; testimonies of witnesses, offenders, and victims (if they survived); and sentence results [15].
