The article highlights and summarizes the history of the creation and activity of educational institutions named after Borys Grinchenko in the cities of Kyiv, Bila Tserkva, Lviv, Kharkiv, Uman, and Poltava Oblast. Examples of successful graduates of these institutions are given, and the names of teachers who worked in them are partially established. It is argued that Borys Grinchenko is a Ukrainian pedagogue, writer, ethnographer, and political figure, whose name is inscribed in the annals of national revival. Materials were found about individuals who participated in perpetuating the memory of Borys Grinchenko. It is noted that the gratitude of descendants for a person who made a noticeable mark in life as an individual or society in general can be manifested in different ways. Most often, honoring the memory of a person and his contribution to the development of science, education, culture, politics and other spheres of public life is manifested in the naming of a specific person to a street, alley, educational institution, which is issued by an order, and public discussion takes place. The research uses the methods of pedagogical biography, which in a structural dimension covers the life path and creative achievements of pedagogical personalities. It is noted that the actualization of research is strengthened in the conditions of today, when the past is understood, evaluated, compared with the present through the biographies of famous or less famous figures who, thanks to their life and creative successes, have become symbols of certain historical periods. The study of the history of educational institutions named after Borys Grinchenko as a form of representation of pedagogical biography made it possible to outline the main approaches to honoring the memory of Borys Grinchenko. It was concluded that separate comprehensive studies of the history of educational institutions named after Borys Grinchenko as a form of representation of pedagogical biography are not enough, which indicates the relevance and novelty of the materials of this article.

The composition of ichthyofauna of Ukraine is changing due to natural processes and the influence of anthropogenic factors in the internal water bodies. Systematic analysis of changes allows controlling these processes and maintaining the diversity of species at a constant level. The purpose of the study was to investigate changes in the composition of the ichthyofauna of the Bilotserkivskyi lower reservoir (Ros River) after the discharge of industrial waste of the Bilotserkivvoda enterprise in 2017 and 2020, which led to the mass death of fish and crayfish. The studies were conducted by catching fish with species identification and a survey of fishermen from November 2016 to October 2020. Additionally, the species composition of fish in this section of the Ros River was considered before the reservoir was created. According to the results of the conducted studies, 24 fish species were identified in 2016, 21 in 2017, and 19 in 2020. Analysing the number of ichthyofauna since the 1960s, it can be concluded that every 10 years the species composition of the ichthyofauna of the Bilotserkivskyi lower reservoir lost about 2-3 species of fish, which is conditioned by the influence of riverbed overlap, industrial activities, uncontrolled and unidentified discharges into the reservoir, etc. After a detailed analysis of the number of ichthyofauna, it was established that by 2016, the following species had disappeared: common dace Leuciscus leuciscus, Dnieper chub P. borysthenicus, ide I. idus, sunbleak Leucaspius delineatus, vimba bream Vimba vimba, crucian carp Carassius carassius, weatherfish Misgurnus fossilis, spined loach Cobitis taenia; in 2017 – species such as gudgeon Gobio gobio, round goby Neogobius melanostomus, tubenose goby Proterorhinus marmoratus; in 2020 – char, ruffe. Quantitative and qualitative restoration of ichthyofauna is possible at the expense of fish from the Protoka River (Rotok). To continue fishing use, it is necessary to settle fish in the reservoir. The practical significance of this study is to determine the species composition of the ichthyofauna for further use of the reservoir for environmental and fishery purposes
Production activities are mandatory elements of the technological cycle and cause various types of animal stress. The use of feed additives based on plant extracts in a liquid composition for pigs is an important strategy for developing their stress resistance and increasing productivity. The purpose of the experiment is to investigate the optimal duration of drinking a liquid feed additive in different periods of technological stress on pig productivity parameters. In farm conditions, 90 crossbred pigs were randomly divided into three groups according to generally accepted zootechnical methods. Animals of the I group (control) were fattened according to the basic technology; animals of II experimental group – BT+ administration of liquid feed additive three days before and three days after the technological action, and pigs of III experimental group – BT+ administration of liquid feed additive seven days before and seven days after. Swine of the III research group at the age of 11-26 weeks probably exceeded their counterparts in live weight by 1.70-5.43 kg, in average daily gains in the period from 14-22 weeks – by 20.0-82.5 g. According to the precocity indicator, pigs of the III group reached a live weight of 100 kg 6.1 days earlier and 120 kg 7.3 days earlier. The values of average daily gains in pigs of the III group were probably higher by 51.9 g – for a live weight of 100 kg and 38.1 g – for 120 kg. Pigs of III group had the lowest level of feed conversion – 0.11 kg at 100 kg and 0.14 kg at 120 kg. It has been established that in order to increase the productivity of pigs, it is worth drinking LFA 7 days before and 7 days after the period of technological stress during the entire growing period. The practical significance of the experiment is to identify the optimal duration of the use of liquid feed additive to increase the stress resistance and productivity of pigs
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
