Abstract: <p> Solar wind High-Speed Streams (HSSs) affect the auroral ionosphere in many ways, and several separate studies have been conducted of the different effects seen e.g. on aurora, geomagnetic disturbances, F-region behavior, and energetic particle precipitation.
