Characteristic energy losses and optical properties of intermetallic compounds in the FeGe system

Abstract: Electron energy loss (EEL) spectra of intermetallic compounds in the FeGe system are investigated. The method of 20 keV‐electron transmission through thin films is used. The spectra obtained are corrected for multiple scattering. The energy loss function, the complex dielectric constant, and some optical functions are computed.
