Character-defining features of contributing buildings and structures in the United States Merchant Marine Academy Historic District

Abstract: This document is an architectural survey of character-defining features for the contributing features of the United States Merchant Marine Academy Historic District. This survey satisfies Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 as amended, and it was used to determine which elements of the buildings and structures of the historic district are character-defining features for the elements that are eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
