Changes of 18F‐fluoro‐2‐deoxyglucose position‐emission tomography findings by the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in the stomach

Abstract: Purpose Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection is reported to increase 18F‐fluoro‐2‐deoxyglucose (FDG) accumulation in the stomach. The accumulation of FDG by positron‐emission tomography (FDG‐PET) in the stomach for the voluntary health examinees of cancer checkup was examined before and after the HP eradication.
