Changes in Ecosystem Service Value in the 1 km Lakeshore Zone of Poyang Lake from 1980 to 2020

Abstract: Poyang Lake is a typical lake in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and is the largest freshwater lake in China. The habitat quality of Poyang Lake has been declining in recent years, leading to a series of ecological problems. An ecological risk evaluation, based on land use, is important in order to promote a coordinated development of land use and the ecological environment. In this paper, land use data from the Poyang Lake basin in the corresponding years are interpreted based on the images … Show more

“…(3) From the perspective of habitat degradation, habitat degradation is especially obvious near the city and around the watershed. On the basis of controlling the scale of construction land, it is also crucial to strengthen watershed protection to achieve the goal of ecological security [53]. The above measures are of practical significance for territorial development plans and the construction of ecological security.…”

“…The regional environmental coverage of ecological resources has become much larger than the built-up area [1]. The existing research is mostly focused on the scope of the built-up area, but the green space within the built-up area and the regional green space outside the built-up area are very different [40,41]. The collection of regional green space dynamic data and their spatial evolution characteristics need to be further strengthened to fill the gap in the relevant This study analyzed the spatial pattern of the regional green space landscape outside the built-up area of Shanghai using remote sensing data from 2000 to 2020, effectively making up for the lack of research on regional green spaces outside built-up areas, to help ensure the healthy and stable development of the regional environmental system.…”

“…Understanding the dynamics between human beings and the environment is already considered a priority for research and investment by the entire community that studies global environmental changes [1]. Consequently, understanding the integration between complex human-environmental systems, analyzing their causes, consequences, and effects is essential to organize land use and obtain information that improves the management of river basins and environments [2,3].…”

“…The increase in agricultural areas is one of the most significant and essential changes in land use, affecting environmental sustainability [4] and causing deforestation [5]. Therefore, it is considered one of the main ways of analyzing the social-environmental interaction and is being recognized in several regions of the globe, such as Lake Poyang, China [2], Msimbazi basin, Tanzania [6], Ethiopian basins [7], and the Brazilian Cerrado [8].…”
