Abstract: Background: Due to advancement of endourology, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a common procedure for removal of renal stones. Intravascular absorption of normal saline during the PCNL may result in fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance and cardiovascular instability.
