Chameleon-Inspired Strain-Accommodating Smart Skin

Abstract: Stimuli-responsive color-changing hydrogels, commonly colored using embedded photonic crystals (PCs), have potential applications ranging from chemical sensing to camouflage and anti-counterfeiting.
