Technical safety and integrity verification processes play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, minimizing risks, and enhancing asset performance. This review analyzes the influence of rigorous safety and integrity verification on project timelines, cost efficiency, and overall asset performance in the oil and gas industry. Safety and integrity verification processes encompass a comprehensive assessment of design, construction, and operational phases of oil and gas projects. These processes involve rigorous inspections, testing, and verification activities to ensure that assets meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. By adhering to these processes, operators can mitigate safety risks, prevent accidents, and safeguard human lives, as well as protect the environment. Moreover, rigorous safety and integrity verification contribute to efficient project delivery by identifying potential hazards and deficiencies early in the project lifecycle. Through proactive risk assessment and mitigation, operators can address issues promptly, thereby minimizing delays and cost overruns. Additionally, adherence to safety and integrity standards instills confidence among stakeholders, investors, and regulatory authorities, fostering trust and credibility in project execution. Furthermore, the impact of technical safety and integrity verification extends beyond project delivery to asset performance throughout its operational lifespan. Assets subjected to thorough safety and integrity verification processes exhibit higher reliability, availability, and operational efficiency. By identifying and addressing potential failure points, operators can prolong asset lifespan, optimize maintenance schedules, and reduce unplanned downtime. Mobility issues, such as handover, should be considered in a wireless environment. Real-time Wi-Fi monitoring from a user perspective is important because it is used to keep track of the Wi-Fi performance and status. Thus, improving network efficiency allows users to work more efficiently. The monitoring currently being held on the Wi-Fi is not in a real-time perspective. The monitoring is only focused on the connection between the controller and the Access Point (AP) and the AP to the user devices. We proposed a way to monitor the Wi-Fi from a real-time user perspective in a wireless environment. This project will use the Raspberry Pi as a device (RP). This is because RP has an operating system that can replace personal computers in terms of monitoring the access point from the user’s point of view. This device will make monitoring tasks more efficient and faster for the user to identify the problems occurring at the Wi-Fi network. This research will also enable the usage of the existing Internet of Things (IoT) to develop new things. To conclude, monitoring using an IoT device can project the view of the Wi-Fi performance from a user perspective.

This paper proposes constructing a smart parking service model based on the Internet of Things and Fog computing architecture. The weaknesses of previous parking service delivery systems are that they did not offer a complete set of end-to-end parking services, such as inaccurate information about parking in real-time, poor system storage and expansion capacity, and knowledge to assist the driver in successfully reaching the parking space at a minimum cost. Therefore, our system offers a complete set of parking assistance services, from when the driver searches and makes a reservation to navigation services that help the driver successfully park at the desired parking spot. To address the problems of storage and system expansion, we also implemented services based on the Internet of Things and Fog computing platforms. The simulation and experimental implementation results show that the services we designed significantly improve the performance of the existing parking system compared to the other systems. Real-time vehicles are handled quickly, significantly reducing driver costs and increasing profits for managers.
