Challenges and Opportunities of Directly Modulated Lasers in Future Data Center and 5G Networks

Abstract: This talk aims to share a product development team’s perspective on the maturity of the foundations of high-speed DMLs today and confidence in productizing DMLs for 100 Gb/s per wavelength and beyond tomorrow.
