Abstract:CFTR-related metabolic syndrome (CRMS) is a novel diagnosis due to widespread use of and advances in the newborn screening (NBS) process for cystic fibrosis (CF) in the United States of America, allowing for the diagnosis of asymptomatic children with CF.
