CFE generator protection guidelines for setting 40 and 64G elements based on simulations and field experience

Abstract: This paper presents guidelines developed by Comisión Federal de Electricidad, the national utility of Mexico, to improve and standardize generator protection through a better understanding of generator protection performance during normal operation and fault conditions.
