Certification of and metrological support to measurement systems for metering energy resources

Abstract

UDC 621.753.3The checking and certification procedure is considered for commissioning systems for metering energy resources in accordance with existing regulatory documents and rules.The use of energy resources affects the environment, human health, and safety at work. Certification is therefore obligatory for products and services in that area. The Russian State Standard Commission is responsible for such certification in Russia. Measurement systems (MS) are used to organize energy metering in accordance with [ 1 ] and are subject to compulsory state metrological monitoring and supervision. Correspondingly, MS intended for monitoring those resources, whether made in this country or imported, are subject to tests to confirm the type of MS and for entry into the state register of MS.The procedure for certification tests has been presented reasonably fully and clearly in the metrological rules [1].
