Certainty of Property: Numerus Clausus or the Rule with No Name?

Abstract: This article is essentially an extended comment on Bernard Rudden's seminal essay on 'The Numerus Clausus Problem', presented originally at the Society of Legal Scholars Conference in Southampton in 2010. The numerus clausus is the (civilian) idea that property rights are limited and can be enumerated.
