Nowadays, one of the important component of living a quality and healthy life is the lifestyle. Education can also affect the lifestyle. The purpose of present study was to investigate the healthy lifestyle behaviors of students who are studying in different departments related to health. The research group consisted of students studying in health-related departments of Firat University. The sample of the present research consisted of 480 volunteer participants enrolled in different departments of sports sciences (240) and health sciences (240). Personal information form was used for the demographic characteristics of the participants. To determine healthy lifestyle behaviors, ''Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale-II'' was used developed by Walker et al. (1996) and adapted into Turkish by Bahar et al. (2008). SPSS software was used in the analysis of the data obtained and the significance level was determined as p <0.05. Percentage, frequency and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistics. Independent samples t test was used for comparison of two groups and One Way Anova test was used for comparison of multiple groups. According to the analysis results; according to the question do you have a healthy lifestyle, there were significant differences between the groups in the sub-dimensions of healthy lifestyle behaviors (p<0.05). However, it was found that there was no difference between the groups according to their financial status and participation in social activity (p>0.05). In conclusion; health responsibility, physical activity and spiritual development sub-dimensions were found to be higher in favor of males. However, it can be said that participation in social activity and financial situation do not affect healthy lifestyle behaviors.
