Abstract:Background: At or after 37 weeks of pregnancy, the decreased cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) denotes high risk of fetal complication. When low-risk foetuses with lower CPR have intrapartum distress within 72 hours after the start of labour, the prevalence of obstetric intervention is greater.
