Cerebral venous thrombosis as presenting manifestation of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Abstract: Background: Venous thrombosis is an important complication in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and has multifactorial origin mainly related to haemostatic changes in the presence of active inflammation.
