Cerebral infarction after Fontan procedure for tricuspid atresia

Abstract: SummaryCerebrovascular accidents are a rare but feared complication of open heart surgery. We report a child with tricuspid atresia who suffered cerebral infarction after a Fontan procedure and discuss possible risk factors.
