Cellulose-based water purification using paper filters modified with polyelectrolyte multilayers to remove bacteria from water through electrostatic interactions

Abstract: Bacteria are removed from contaminated waters through adsorption onto the modified cellulose fiber surface in paper filters with pores larger than the bacteria.
