Abstract: This study aimed at developing and optimizing the orally dispersible thin film (ODTF) containing a plant-derived drug—curcumin (CUR). CUR belongs to a biopharmaceutical classification system (BCS) class IV compound that requires improving its water solubility and tissue permeability preceding formulation.
