Cellulite: a review

Abstract: Gynoid lipodystrophy (cellulite) is an extremely controversial topic. A lack of knowledge regarding specific aetiopathogenic factors, as well as the opportunism of some professionals and the media, has fuelled debate regarding the scientific basis of this condition. This article reviews the clinical, epidemiological, histopathological and therapeutic aspects of cellulite.
