Abstract: Carbon quantum dots derived from mango leaves exhibited bright red fluorescence. These negatively charged particles underwent coating with the positively charged lipid molecule N-[1-(2,3-dioleyloxy) propyl]-N,N,N-trimethylammonium chloride (DOTMA).
