[39][40][41] Our further semi-quantitative non-negative least squares (NNLS) 25 fitting analysis of in vivo gastric Raman spectra using basis spectra of the six reference biochemicals (i.e., actin, collagen, DNA, histones, phosphatidylcholine and triolein) confirms the significantly larger contributions from collagen and actin in benign ulcers compared to normal mucosa (data not shown).
