Oral Neutrophils Display a Site‐Specific Phenotype Characterized by Expression of T‐Cell Receptors

This might explain the overestimation of number of T cells present in saliva of healthy patients by other groups because the T cells they are counting are likely to be neutrophils 16,21,22 .
