Cell‐Derived Vesicles: Cell‐Derived Vesicles as TRPC1 Channel Delivery Systems for the Recovery of Cellular Respiratory and Proliferative Capacities (Adv. Biosys. 11/2020)
Abstract:Mitochondrial function is central to human health and has been recently shown to be modulated by magnetic field‐induced TRPC1 (red) activation. In article number 2000146, Petra S. Dittrich, Alfredo Franco‐Obregón, and co‐workers show that cell‐derived vesicles from wild type muscle are capable of reinstating lost mitochondrial sensitivity to magnetic fields in muscle cells in which TRPC1 had been genetically silenced.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
