Causes of appointment attendance, nonattendance, and cancellation in outpatient consultations at a university hospital

Abstract: Summary Background Nonattendance to scheduled appointments in outpatient clinics is a frequent problem in ambulatory medicine with an impact on health systems and patients' health.
