Electroluminescence of Au/n‐ZnSiP2 diodes is observed both under reverse bias and under forward bias conditions. Bremsstrahlung of hot electrons is made responsible for the uniform spectra of all reverse biased diodes. Electroluminescence spectra under forward bias conditions could be obtained only from some diodes. They show different shapes and partially similarity to the cathodoluminescence spectra of the same crystals.
