Cathodoluminescence of iron oxides and oxyhydroxides

Abstract: Iron oxides and oxyhydroxides show promise as superconductor materials and as repositories of paleoenvironmental information. However, there are no microscale nondestructive analytical techniques to characterize their combined mineralogy, chemical composition, and crystal properties.
