Abstract:Hemothorax is most commonly caused by trauma, but can also result from iatrogenic injury, rupture of pleural adhesions, neoplasm, complication of anticoagulation, aneurysmal rupture, rupture of pulmonary vascular malformations, endometriosis, and exostoses.
