Catalytic oxide coatings on ceramic supports

Abstract: Thin porous oxide coatings composed of Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2 and ZrO2, respectively, on ceramic carriers have been produced by either a wash‐coat procedure or by liquid coating followed by solidification. By dehydration and calcination of the supported ceramics the pore texture was stabilised.
