Abstract:Global freshwater shortage is forcing researchers to focus on seawater electrolysis for large‐scale green hydrogen production. Seawater purification by reverse osmosis (RO) for use in conventional water electrolyzers (WEs) is another approach, however, that requires large capital investments.
