Abstract: Supportless Pt black is an attractive oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) due to its merits such as no concern of support corrosion at high potentials and high durability against Pt dissolution at frequent potential change conditions.
