Abstract:Introduction: Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a systolic heart failure that affects women during the third trimester of pregnancy or in the first months following childbirth. Even though the first case was reported in 1800, the etiology remains unknown. The main reason for consultation is dyspnea, which can delay diagnosis by considering it normal in pregnant patients.
