Abstract:Oral lichen planus (OLP) is an immune-mediated and inflammatory mucocutaneous lesion. Reticular form is usually asymptomatic and erosive form is present as symptomatic erythematous areas in the oral cavity intermixed with lacy white lines, most commonly in the buccal mucosa. Typical clinical features will aid in diagnosis, but biopsy is essential to arrive at the diagnosis and to exclude dysplastic changes in erosive form. This is a case report of two different clinical forms of OLP.
