Case report of 2,4,D poisoning in st. Pauls hospital millennium medical college

Abstract: Background 2,4-Dichlorphenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) a chlorphenoxy group pesticide, is a selective herbicide widely used to kill broad-leaved plants in wheat cultivation. This toxin is extremely lethal, with a fatality rate that approaches 100%. This poison's severe pulmonary, renal, neurological, gastrointestinal, and myotoxic effects result in fast demise and multi-organ failure.
