characterized by eyelid myoclonia, eye closure-induced seizures or electroencephalography (EEG) paroxysms, and photosensitivity[ps].Though

a genetic contribution is likely present, the genes responsible are not identied. Clinical forms of JS: we have identied four forms of JS; early
onset (< 4 years), mild form, classical form and an ELMA-JME form. If diagnosed can be treated effectively with sodium valproate and
benzodiazepines.
