Case-based reasoning expert system for concept design of economical car

Abstract

This paper discussed the mechanism of CBR(Case-based Reasoning), placing emphasis on its application in car concept design. The concept and method of the acquirement of dynamic case-based knowledge are put forward. This paper tried to induce CBR into car concept design and established the Casebased Reasoning Expert System for Concept Design of Economical Car (ESCDEC). Till now, this attempt is yielding satisfactory results.
