Abstract:Cascaded stimulated polariton scattering (SPS) under powerful picosecond pumping of 532 nm wavelength was investigated in a single pass of a KTP (KTiOPO4) crystal. Under ordinary polarization of the pump wave (relatively XOZ-plane) parametric scattering in the KTP crystal was observed. By rotation of the pump wave polarization (from ordinary to extraordinary), this scattering gradually transforms into polariton scattering. Polariton signal components (spots) with gaps between them were registered at external a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
