Carotenoids and Apocarotenals in the Dorsal Fin of Mosquito Fish

Abstract: IntroductionMosquitofish from The Bahamas, Gambusia hubbsi, and south Florida, Gambusia rhyzophorae, were observed to exhibit yellow‐orange coloration in their dorsal fins.
