Indeed, the more than 195 Jews killed by the security forces (among less than 9,000 documented disappearances) may well exceed the number of Jews murdered by officiallytolerated groups at all other times since Argentine independence, the Sentana Trdgica excepted. In short, while there is no question that this compact book retains relevance, Argentinists, as well as Judaica, immigration and ethnic studies' specialists with a working knowledge of Spanish, will find it, aside from other things, less rich in detail than its older uncompressed predecessor, and certainly not as updated as suggested in the preface.
