Caring for Students: What Teachers Have to Say

Abstract: In this exploratory qualitative study we examined teachers' perceptions of teacher behaviors that convey caring in upper elementary and middle school classrooms. Data collection included teacher interview, classroom observations, and teacher self-reflection.
