Abstract:The mechanisms by which Internet use influences rural women's health are explored in this paper using a mixed-methods approach. Findings indicate that internet use has a significant and positive effect on the health of rural women and hold up to endogenous and robustness testing. Additionally, the strength of the effects of internet use on self-rated health, depression, and cognition level decreases with age.
