Cardiovascular Calcification Heterogeneity in Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract: Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) exhibit tremendously elevated risk for cardiovascular disease, particularly ischemic heart disease, due to premature vascular and cardiac aging and accelerated ectopic calcification.
