Abstract: Purpose of review Contemporary anticancer immunotherapy, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy, has changed the landscape of treatment for patients with a variety of malignancies who historically had a poor prognosis.
