Cardiotoxicity: Importance of biomarkers

Abstract: The clinical efficacy of chemotherapy, as a recognized therapeutic approach for malignant diseases, usually has certain limitations due to its cardiotoxicity (CT) and consequent cardiomyopathy, or even heart failure.
