Cardiogenic shock as a first presentation in acute myocardial infarction in Egyptian's patients and its outcome

Abstract: Cardiogenic shock secondary to acute myocardial infarction continues to be a frustrating problem of great clinical significance. With improvements in the medical management of AMI, particularly the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias, CS has emerged as the most common cause of death (7 to 12%) of all patients admitted with myocardial infarction.
