Cardiac Myxomas: Experience Over One Decade

Abstract: Biatrial involvement or multiplicity of myxomas does not mandate recurrence. Surgical excision has excellent overall survival and freedom from reoperation rates, but annual follow-up including echocardiographic surveillance is recommended as familial cases tend to recur.
